Why Should We Remotely Monitor?

To identify and react to issues in a proactive manner Process All your Servers will have a definitive remote check list developed and implemented. Some of the items checked include the following

• Event logs
• Security logs
• Backups
• Antivirus software
• Disk Space
• Server Health
• Error reporting 

Staff undertaking remote checks provide a CHECKING function – if faults are identified they are booked AS JOBS and a technician tasked with rectification on an appropriate priority. Any Jobs created from these checks will be conducted at our normal Job billing rates and deducted from your block time. Jobs considered important by your nominated Site Manager (one of our Senior Engineers) will be acted on immediately – less important tasks may be scheduled to be done together to economise on time and minimise impact on users.


Server Monitoring

The Service INCLUDES basic server function monitoring and an SMS advisory Service. The completed check lists and reports will be forwarded at regular intervals. Costs are subject to the site configuration and complexity and are based on the time taken to undertake the defined task.


We Offer Two Packages

Lite Monitoring package – This package provides for WEEKLY checks totalling 1.25 Block Hours per month for a typical Single Server (subject to site review). This includes one full check per week and an end of month check. The end of month check includes the weekly check and further in-depth software management to ensure consistent network stability.

Intense Monitoring package - This package provides DAILY checks of your vital server assets totalling around 2.5 Block Hours per month for a typical Single Server (subject to site review). This includes one full check per day and an end of month check. The end of month check includes the daily check and further in-depth software management to ensure consistent network stability.
